Athena Phillips

A resident of Franklin, Tennessee, Athena is an author, English teacher in Williamson County Tennessee, and a children's librarian. Athena's dream to author children's books began while earning her graduate degree at Belmont University.

Athena's first book, Herbie's Happy Birthday, is Book #1 in the Herbie Vore the Dinosaur series for children. Herbie Vore was introduced at his birthday party. Athena and her late grandmother Frances Phillips shared a May 14th birthday, and so she dedicated Herbie's Happy Birthday to her Maw Maw Frances.

Her latest book series introduces Herbie's cousin, Carnie Vore the Dinosaur. Follow Carnie as she learns and grows. Athena enjoys traveling to magical lands such as Austria, Budapest and Prague.
